Bridge to Benefits
The Children’s Defense Fund Minnesota has created a youth-oriented Bridge to Benefits tool. Information regarding youth accessing public programs has now been posted on the Bridge to Benefits website.
If you are a provider, please consider becoming a Bridge to Benefits partner. This one-stop shop approach connects families and individuals to economic resources without taking too much time for the service provider or the client.
The partnership is free and includes:
Training on the website
- A box of program applications and handouts
- Data reports on the screens completed by the organization, which can be used for grant reporting and other purposes.
- Password for the site that allows screeners to use our e-mail referral feature that sends an e-mail on behalf of those screened to a local application assistance organization that will follow up with the client and help them apply and enroll in the programs for which they are eligible.
